Carol Olmert is a nonfiction writer and researcher. She holds a B.A. from UCLA in Pre-Social Welfare. Carol has been employed as a Market Research Analyst by large corporations and served as an Administrator for several non-profit organizations.

A recovered paruretic, she is the Women’s Coordinator for the International Paruresis Association (IPA) and also serves as an Advisory Board Member. Previously, she was a member of the IPA’s Board of Directors. Carol conducts workshops for women who want to recover from paruresis.

She lives with her husband in Walnut Creek, California.
